The labeling of footwear products indicates information about the materials used for the following parts of the shoes:
- Upper (the side of the structural element that is attached to the sole);
- Lining and insole (the lining of the upper and the insole lining that form the inside of the shoe);
- Outer sole (the bottom part of the shoe, which is exposed to abrasive wear and attached to the upper).
The parts of the footwear, as well as the materials used in the shoes, are indicated either with a pictogram or in writing.
